Truck maintenance software

Truck maintenance software built around the driver-to-fleet-manager handoff.

A truck can move through several drivers, shifts and depots before it returns to the workshop. Service Sheet lets the person at the vehicle submit the displayed kilometres, engine hours or a factual issue, while the fleet manager controls maintenance schedules and decisions.

A practical evaluation

Keep the maintenance picture current across shifts

01

Several drivers, one truck record

Put the update point on the vehicle instead of relying on a particular driver account, windscreen sticker or message thread.

02

See kilometres and engine hours separately

Port, tipper and stop-start work can accumulate significant running hours without matching long-haul distance. Track the measurements the fleet manager chooses.

03

Keep trailers visible too

Treat a trailer as its own maintained asset, with registration details and an optional hub-meter reading that do not depend on the current prime mover.

How it works

A quick routine at the truck

  1. Scan

The driver scans the permanent Service Sheet label on the truck or trailer.

  2. Enter

They submit the requested odometer or engine-hour display, or describe a directly observable issue.

  3. Review

The fleet team reviews provenance and unusual readings before those values affect the maintenance calculation.

  4. Record the work

Completed servicing and issue resolution remain attached to the correct truck or trailer history.

Before you choose

Why a service sticker alone can miss the handoff

A sticker can show a target, but it still depends on someone noticing it, understanding what it means and telling the right person. Shared vehicles and shift changes make that informal handoff easy to lose. A permanent QR label asks for the factual reading and sends it to the fleet record immediately.

Service Sheet supports customer-defined kilometre and engine-hour schedules, including both measurements on a dual-meter asset. The software never invents an interval or decides which measurement should govern a service.

Drivers report facts. The fleet owner or manager reviews those facts, chooses the schedule using appropriate manufacturer and maintenance-provider guidance, and decides whether work or withdrawal from service is required.

Where it fits

Truck and transport records in scope

Start proportionately

Give drivers a simple input and the fleet manager a truck-centred record that survives every handover.
